WW2 German Waffen SS, Unterscharführer
10.SS-Panzer-Division "Frundsburg" Tarnopol, Russia 1944
In March 1944, SS Divisions Frundsberg and Hohenstaufen were sent to aid trapped German Forces in the area around Tarnopol, Ukraine. Both divisions were part of the II SS-Panzerkorps. The rescue was a success and Frundsberg remained within the Tranopol-Kovel region until June 1944. Next stop for them was Normandy.
My figure represents a NCO in sometime in April 1944 in the area of Tarnopol. Similar to my other customs, this soldat is very posable. I managed to take some photos of him catching a bit of R&R and distracted by some aerial battle. Another pose is an action pose - in the heat of battle!
