Hello again fellas, and sorry for another Vietnam post, but really I'm not
I was taking advantage of slightly overcast skies today and trying to take pictures in between slight sprinkles of rain. First off is my early war SOG team. "Lucky Six" is essentially how he came out of the box, I did however add a TS 1911 holster and SS 1911. The other member is another "Lucky Six" however hes sporting a swedish k. The "gp" pouches are Battle Gear Toys WWII "riggers" pouches. He is also sporting a BGT sog machete and a BGT or Newline 1911 shoulder holster. The head sculpt is a repaint of a BBI g1 brit resembling Russel Crowe. The third member is the indigenous team member. This south vietnamese soldier was created with the SS Chinese expeditionary unit figure. Hes sporting some ACE web gear with a SS pistol and thompson mag pouch. The thompson is actually a DML first generation thompson, i thought it looked nice and was simple/sturdy. His other weapon is the M79 which he has plenty of rounds for.
The next photos are of my late war sog team. Here I have put all of "Black Jack"s gear onto the second op delaware nude figure. I was partial to this sculpt as it bears a striking resemblance to myself actually. I don't know if the verticle foregrip and the colt 4x scope were ever put to use in unison, but in the spirit of mixing things up and trying to make my figures more unique I went with this combo. I personally like it, whether its realistic or not. "Black Jack" himself got quite the upgrade. Hes sporting a Armory chest rig with 30rnd mags, and a Xm177e2 xm148 combo with a 30rnd mag as well. He has more mags stashed in a rigger modified canteen pouch, and if that wasn't enough he has some regular 20 rnd mags too. He is definitely prepared to lay down some fire. The last member here is another indig soldier from South Vietnam. This figure is actually based off of an old Ron Volstad plate that I have Etched in my mind. Hes sporting a mixed ACE uniform from Cowboy and Black Jack, a BGT belt with pouches and gear from Lucky Six to support his BAR. The body is none other than Henry Kano. This guy is ready to lay down supportive fire so that the other 2 team members can get their job done and not have to watch their backs.
And Lastly Some group shots, and a final shot of the two indigenous South Vietnam team members together.
As always, I appreciate any comments or critiques, let me know what you guys think!
