DML General Patton Upgrade

I picked up a used DML Patton on ebay and decided to upgrade him a bit. Here are some original photos and my completed figure:



I had the DiD pistol belt and decided to use the Colt SAA, but not the S&W .357. The edges of the holster and pouch were darkened with a brown sharpie, but otherwise it was left as is. The only thing modified from the figure was his leather jacket, which is a nice copy of Patton's jacket. Not sure why, but they included the buckled staps at the bottom, but not the shoulder epaulets. So I added some from extra material on the inside of the pockets, then added the 3 stars made from foil labels printed on the computer. I made a 1st Armored Division patch on a clear address label, and it has a nice subdued look, like the embroidered original. Patton got some extra foam padding, and a pair of DML glasses tucked into his jacket pocket, like in the one photo.
This isn't a major figure, but he makes a nice upgraded addition to my US military collection, and he IS CAV!!!. Hope you like him and thanks for looking.
