AH-6 Little Bird

One of my holy grails was always the 21st Century Little Bird. I saw one once in the window of an Army recruiting center in Providence, RI, and wanted it ever since.
I scored one off eBay last year for a decent price, but held off putting it together since I knew I was going to move within a few months. Now that we're all settled in,
I spent the afternoon yesterday putting it and its pilots together. I'm happy with it so far:



I built the pilots up on the cheap, and tried to find the shortest figures I could since the Little Bird isn' t quite to scale. They consist of:

- DML head from carded set
- BBI G1 body
- 21st Century SPH-4B
- BBI "Marshall" pilot's BDU
- BBI Altama desert boots
- DML pilot's survival vest
- Dr. Figures HiTac gloves

I'd have liked to find a decent SARVSO vest, but the Hot Toys SOAR one is impossible to find and the Dr. Figures female 101st medic vest is too small. But I like how they turned out anyway.

My next step with this is to build some benches for it to turn it into an MH-6. I've been searching around on the forums here and picked up a few good ideas I'm going to try out.
