Been working on a few figures the last few weeks. One for the JP hobbies contest that was also a gift to my dad. He already has it, I will save what he said for after the contest as I don't want to give it away. An SS calvary figure, I ordered a nohuanda calvary horse for him. If you want the best horse that is who you go to, but be prepared to pay dearly!!! LOL And working on a german sniper on the eastern front. I have Bruce Arbo making the base for me from a picture I sent. This one is going to look pretty sweet. My first sniper dio. Below is a teaser shot of the sniper figure, just waiting for the base.

Ok finally got around to finishing up this dio. The base should be familar it was done by Bruce Arbo and was posted by itself in a seperate Barracks topic. I scratch built the the dresser then broke it up and stained it and burned areas of it to get it look old and damaged. I added an old curtain to the window. I also added the food items, the bread laying on thigh was made with FIMO and the can of jelly was a resin piece I ground out. There is a spent round on the floor "melted" into the snow by the corner of the dresser. If you look closely you can see the ration box under his left elbow and a spare clip of ammo on the window ledge ready for quick reload.

Let me know what you think and if I need to change or add something, I am still not sure about the snow I put on the boots. If that looks out of place or over kill on the amount.
