Rather than waiting in vain for any company to produce a Turkish soldier (WW1), I elected to make one myself. I realize I am in the minority here with my interest in the Great War, but I think it's kind of sad that No company makes any more WW1 figures. Especially considering the insane prices on E-Bay and Amazon for Sideshows WW1 figures. The Turks and the Austro-Hungarians get no love from the big 1:6 companies.
Head-HT Brando. I wanted him darker, to better reflect a Turk (although the sculpt is kinda dark already). I applied dark toned makeup to the sculpt to get a more swarthy appearance. Sealed with Dullcote and added "real" hair mustache.
3R Japanese soldier uniform, Soldier Story pack, BBi canteen, DML(?) rifle, repainted, DML ammo, scratch built kabalak and base.
